The Procedure
What should I expect during the test?
The Vivio test is simple, comfortable and completed entirely in your doctor’s office. Here’s what happens:
1) Arm Cuff Placed
A cuff is placed on your upper left arm, similar to a standard blood pressure cuff.
2) Small Patch Applied
A small monitoring patch is gently placed on your upper left chest to record signals.
3) Sit Still & Breathe
You sit quietly and breathe normally for just a few minutes. That’s all you need to do.
4) Results Recorded
The device records your heart’s signals and transmits results to your doctor.

No, it shouldn’t hurt. You’ll feel the arm cuff inflate several times, each one a bit stronger then than the previous one as it measures the pumping of your blood. There is also a small, lightweight patch attached to the skin of your upper chest measuring the electrical activity of your heart.
About 5 minutes. You can continue with your day immediately after — no waiting, no recovery.
No special preparation is needed. Just come to your appointment as you normally would.
There is no cost to you for this test and no prior authorization is required from Medicare or your insurance company.
