What is Vivio®?

Vivio® is the first and only medical device to enable non-invasive diagnosis of heart failure within clinical or home health care environments. Developed by Ventric Health, Vivio® is the direct result of breakthrough research done within leading university labs — yielding deep, uncommon data on the human heart that’s being leveraged for the first time.

The device, simple to use but sophisticated in function, uses advanced algorithms to non-invasively detect elevated left ventricular end-diastolic pressure (LVEDP). The solution’s ability to non-invasively measure LVEDP is unmatched in the industry.

Clinicians can perform the test in less than five minutes, regardless of where it’s performed, and receive results generated in real time to aid in diagnosing heart failure.

How is it changing heart failure (HF) diagnosis?

HF is a challenge to diagnose early and is a costly burden on our healthcare system — especially for value-based healthcare organizations serving at-risk populations.

of patients with heart failure have symptoms overlooked during a normal clinical assessment1

of patients with lower socioeconomic status (SES) are diagnosed in the ER or inpatient setting2-3

30 months

can elapse between the initial onset of symptoms and a diagnosis4

By aiding diagnosis in minutes and doing so in expanded care environments, mobile technologies like Vivio® are significantly reducing barriers to care for those populations impacted by social determinants of health (SDoH).
