Biykem Bozkurt, MD, PhD is leading expert in heart failure and cardiovascular medicine, with a distinguished career spanning clinical care, research and academic leadership. She serves as Senior Dean of Faculty and Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, where she also leads the Winters Center for Heart Failure.

Dr. Bozkurt is an advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation specialist and has held numerous leadership roles in major cardiovascular organizations, including serving as President of the Heart Failure Society of America and contributing to national heart failure guidelines. She currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of JACC: Heart Failure and is widely recognized for her contributions to advancing heart failure care through clinical research and guideline development.
